A film made to commemorate Newham Monitoring Project’s 33 year anniversary. Using unique archive material from a variety of sources, this film is a tribute to an east London organisation who have been fighting racism and injustice for over 3 decades.

With stirring and uplifting imagery reflecting our imagined afterlife, this contemplative film offers a fascinating insight into the workings of The City of London Cemetery and Crematorium, the largest in the UK.

The Tardis
Based around an underground London location known as ‘The Tardis’, this mini-documentary follows the lives of 3 young Asians who break the mould. The audience is invited into the recesses of this amazing subterranean complex which plays host to gangster and celebrity parties alike, and all under the ever watchful eye of Jesus the resident parrot!
Commissioned by O2 Asian Film Directors Fund. Screened in 32 cinemas across UK. Winner of FourDocs Factual Film Award, Super Shorts 2006.
trilogy copy Gaza Trilogy  One year after the Israeli military offensive Operation Cast Lead rained down bombs on the people of Gaza, Save the Children wanted to find out what affect this had on the children. We worked with 7 young people in the northern town of Beit Hanoun, and facilitated the making of 3 short films about their lives in Gaza. Despite never having used a video camera before, every shot was filmed and directed by the children themselves.
